Most Exciting Video Games Coming in 2017

Summer is all about getting outside. But is it really? Take a look at the list of video games coming in 2017 and you might second guess the notion of nice weather and sun tans as well.   1. Prey (Xbox One, PS4, PC - May 5) Coming to next-gen consoles and PCs this summer is Prey, an extremely promising title sure to keep gamers indoors this summer. You are basically a science experiment gone horribly wrong, stuck on a station in the great vacuum of space which is, naturally, overrun by aliens. This title is rated M for mature.   2. Injustice 2 (Xbox One, PS4 - May 16) DC superheroes are all the rage nowadays, what with Wonder Woman coming out this summer and a few DC blockbusters already in the bag. Coming to Xbox One and PS4 this May is Injustice 2, a fighting game with a deep library of playable DC superheroes and villains. You can customize character looks, equipment and powers as you obtain and unlock them throughout the game.
  3. RiME (Xbox One, PS4, PC - May 26) One of the more artsy titles on this list is also one of the most powerful and intriguing. RiME, running on the notoriously powerful Unreal Engine, is the story of a boy trying to survive. It doesn't sound too original but the gameplay is.   4. Tekken 7 (Xbox One, PS4, PC - June 2) The legendary fighting game returns to Xbox One, PS4 and PCs this summer in installment number 7. Tekken 7 is the conclusion to the clashing of the Mishima clan, featuring cinematic battle scenes and plenty of replay value for single and multiplayer alike!
  5. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy (PS4 - June 30) Remember all those epic challenges from the Crash Bandicoot series as a kid? Well, get ready to relive them in beautiful 4k! Featuring Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Again and Crash Bandicoot: Warped, this summer video game 3-pack release is at the top of our wishlist!
  6. Agents of MAYHEM (Xbox One, PS4 - August 15) This open-world, action/adventure game is about to blow some minds this summer! Players control a three person team of fully customizable and deadly military agents, tasked with saving the world, as you'd expect. Don't have an Xbox or Playstation?   7. Star Wars Battlefront II (Xbox One, PS4, PC - November 14) Dun, duhhh, dun dun dun, DUN, duhhh... da da da da... Yes, Star Wars! The incredibly popular and beautifully built Star Wars Battlefront series returns for the second installment on next-gen consoles and fourth installment in the series. Introducing new characters, maps and ships to fly, Star Wars Battlefront II is going to steal the summer and be one of the most popular video games released before Christmas.
  8. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4 -TBA 2017) Hopefully coming out in 2017, but not undoubtedly, is the new Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. We don't have many details on this one yet but we're excited! Keep an eye out for this one in time for Christmas 2017 video game lists.
